Managers formulate the policies and direct operations of corporations, nonprofit institutions, and government agencies. Nearly every organization worldwide employs managers. A degree in management prepares you to lead and communicate with people in a professional role. Jobs are available in almost every industry worldwide for managers with strong leadership qualities.
Through classes taught by experienced faculty and a hands-on approach to management education, the Division of Management & International Business in the Michael F. Price College of Business gives Management students an invaluable set of tools to start their business careers. Students take required courses in human resources plus production and operations management. They then choose four electives from a long list of courses including legal issues for managers, organizational behavior, leadership, supervision skills and negotiations. One of these courses must have primarily international content (e.g. international human resources, international business or cross cultural management.)
