Mackenzie is an OU alum who fell in love with the community. When she is not coordinating the Assessment Center, you can likely find her enjoying local at events, diving headfirst into crafts with maybe too much confidence, trying new recipes, or spending time with her partner and dog.

I love all of the events that pop up to keep campus interesting! On the South Oval, you never know what you'll find! My favorite memory is when they set up a petting zoo during finals-- it was just me and a baby goat against the world!

My transition to college life as a freshman was particularly bumpy, so I love being able to be there to support and advocate for students in a time of their life where I know all too well that they need it-- being able to help is incredibly fulfilling.

Outside of your ambitions, find something that you enjoy doing that there is no need to be good at right away-- or ever! Some of my best stress relief came from making incredibly lumpy and silly ceramics between classes. You don't always need to be the best, just to do the best you can in that moment.
