Lisa was an out-of-state student, so she knows what it feels like to be far from home. While attending OU, she intended to go back home to Michigan. However, she fell in love with the campus, the people, and the man of her dreams and decided to officially join the OU Family. Prior to her work at OU, she was a high school teacher for 20 years. Lisa has always enjoyed supporting students and finds working with them fulfilling and rewarding. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys reading, crafting, learning languages, and spending quality time with her husband.
The OU/TX football game is always a favorite. Anything can happen and you never know how it's going to turn out!
The college years are such a transformative time period in a person's life. I enjoy working with students because I get to be a part of that journey in helping them realize their academic goals and career aspirations.
Always go to class, even when you don't feel like it. Don't be afraid to reach out for help when you need it.
