Brain and Stroke Topic of August's Neuro Night Forum

August’s Neuro Night forum will focus on improving neurological health through education, research and access to care.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Improving neurological health through education, research and access to care will be the topic of August’s Neuro Night forum, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Fountains at Canterbury, 1404 N.W. 122nd St. A light dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.

During the event, members of the community will have an opportunity to speak directly with experts in the topic presented and discover the cutting edge of research and clinical practice in this area. The forum is part of the Neuro Night series sponsored by the Oklahoma Center for Neuroscience, a consortium of neuroscientists from across the state that serves as a research center and information resource at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

The forum will include a panel of three:

  • David Gordon, M.D., professor and chairman, Department of Neurology, OU Health Sciences Center
  • Angelia Kirkpatrick, M.D., assistant professor, Department of Cardiology, OU Health Sciences Center
  • Bappaditya Ray, M.D., assistant professor, Department of Neurology, OU Health Sciences Center
