IMPORTANT: If you or someone you know is in a life threatening situation, call 911.

Walk-In Emergency Services:

The UCC provides crisis services to current, students, faculty, and staff. If you are in crisis, you can walk in during our office hours (8:00-5:00 Monday- Friday) and be seen by an on-call crisis counselor. If possible, please call ahead (325-2911) and let us know that you're coming. Please tell the receptionist that you are in crisis and need to see someone as soon as possible.

Examples of Urgent Crisis:

  • Thoughts of hurting yourself
  • Thought of hurting other people
  • Unable to stop crying
  • Have not eaten in a few days (not due to illness)
  • Have not slept in a few days (not due to illness)
  • Recent victim of sexual assault

OU Advocates - Dial 911 (on campus) or (405) 615-0013 (off campus or by cell) and ask for OU Advocates regarding sexual assault issues.

Women's Resource Center - Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking crisis services.
