Welcome to our website! You will generally find me in the hospital or at our Sports Medicine clinic at the YMCA. I am an internist by training and had worked as a hospitalist prior to returning for my fellowship year, and will bring that perspective to your hospital education. Our Sports Medicine team takes care of high school, college and professional sports, as well as athletes of all ages and abilities in the clinic. We have a team-based approach (with physical therapy and exercise physiology in-house) that I really enjoy being a part of, and hope that you consider it too.
Why OU-Tulsa? I have lived in Tulsa ever since I was two years old. It has been a great city to grow up and live in, and when my wife and I were looking for a permanent place for home, decided to choose Tulsa as a place to raise our family. I originally started working for a large orthopedic group in town, but I missed working with residents, and was glad of a chance to come back to the OU family. Working here has allowed me to continue to be a team physician for multiple teams and help teach people like you, which is what I really want to do. Our Sports Medicine clinic is located in the YMCA, so I get to live the ‘Exercise is Medicine’ philosophy every day.
