Dana L. Greer, APRN-CNP

About Dana Greer

I’m a native Tulsan and now reside in Bixby. I first announced I wanted to be a nurse in kindergarten! I graduated from Tulsa Junior College’s nursing program in 1988 at 19 years of age. I worked at Saint Francis Hospital and became friends with a new graduate that would greatly impact my career. She had grown up attending a camp for kids with type 1 diabetes. The following summer we attended diabetes camp together as volunteer nurses and I was hooked. In 1993, I began working in pediatric endocrinology. Soon I returned to college to become a nurse practitioner. I love taking care of kids and their families. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, the hardest part of my job is when my patients “outgrow” me and I have to refer them on to an adult provider.
