Dr. Gleason is professor and chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Nebraska. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. She is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with subspecialty certification in Psychosomatic Medicine. She has received additional training in academic medicine administration through her participation in the Program for Chiefs of Clinical Services at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. She is past president of both the Tulsa Psychiatric Association and the Oklahoma Psychiatric Physicians Association and serves on the Executive Council of the American Academy of Chairs of Departments of Psychiatry. She has been distinguished as a fellow of the American Psychiatry Association and of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine. Dr. Gleason was selected by her peers as one of the Best Doctors in America for the last three years.
