Board-certified in both General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Benson is the George Kaiser Family Foundation Chair in Pediatrics and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics.  He currently provides outpatient primary care and subspecialty consultative services to adolescents and young adults aged 12 to 22 years at the Schusterman Center Pediatric Clinic, the OU Wayman Tisdale Specialty Health Clinic, and Youth Services of Tulsa.  He is also available for inpatient consultations at the Children's Hospital at St. Francis.  His clinical interests include reproductive health care including contraceptive management, sexually transmitted infections, menstrual disorders, eating disorders and obesity management, and GLBT health.  He is engaged in developing several community-based collaborations to enhance adolescent health services for other medically underserved populations in Tulsa.
