Combining the latest management theory with applied work experience, the Organizational Dynamics (ODYN) program at OU-Tulsa develops professionals who have the leadership and teamwork skills needed to manage people, projects, and processes thorugh a Master's degree in ODYN as well as several certificate courses. More people focused than an MBA, the ODYN program was uniquely developed through a collaboration between Tulsa-based businesses and industrial/organizational psychology faculty members at OU-Tulsa. Team-based and project-based learning techniques are used extensively so the learning experience in the classroom mirrors organizational work environments.
The applied focus of the program means that students can immediately apply what they learn on the weekends to their jobs. Courses in this 36-hour program are delivered in a condensed format with most class meetings conducted over three weekends to meet the schedule needs of working adults.

Organizational Dynamics (ODYN) combines the disciplines of industrial-organizational psychology, management. amd organizational behavior. Students learn how to lead and manage teams to help an organization's employees work together more effectively and ensure alignment between an organization's goals and the strategies people use to achieve them.
ODYN includes specializations in human resource management and project management. Since all organizations utilize people and projects, skills learned through this degree are applicable in a wide variety of industries including public, private, governmental, and not-for-profit organizations.
The ODYN program at OU-Tulsa helps students develop skills by bringing together cutting edge research with practical application in a team-based learning format. Class and capstone projects address real organizational challenges and opportunities.
ODYN graduates from OU-Tulsa are recognized as possessing the leadership skills, vision, and creativity needed to excel within their respective fields.
Students and alumni of the ODYN program report exceptionally high rates of promotions, job offers, and increased visibility while they are still completing the program as well as after graduation. Many graduates of the ODYN program stay in close contact with the program. Program alumni regularly give guest talks in classes, serve as jurors for class project presentations, and refer prospective students to the program.
