Ronald Saizow, M.D.
Associate Dean for Academic Programs & Designated Institutional Officer
Ronald Saizow, M.D., FACP, serves as Professor of Medicine, Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Designated Institutional Official (DIO) at OU-TU School of Community Medicine (OU-TU SCM). Dr. Saizow has the authority and responsibility for oversight and administration of the OU-TU SCM’s Graduate Medical Education programs. Additionally, Dr. Saizow teaches and attends with medical student in the OU-TU SCM’s student lead clinic. During Dr. Saizow’ s more than 30 year academic medical career, he has received numerous teaching awards including being awarded the Stanton L. Young Master Teaching Award, the College of Medicine’s highest honor for faculty recognized for their professional and personal excellence and their ability to serve as an inspiring leader. Dr. Saizow works with resident and fellowship program directors and their faculty to create and ensure the best educational and scholarly experience for house staff.
Director of Graduate Medical Education Programs
For more than 10 years, Melissa has worked with residents and in the Office of Graduate Medical Education. Melissa oversees the management of the office and assists residency program personal as needed. Similar to Dr. Saizow, Melissa works with all resident coordinator in all programs to ensure residents and fellows receive an exceptional education experience at the OU-TU School of Community Medicine.
Graduate Medical Education Coordinator
As coordinator in the GME Office, Kris is responsible for assisting programs in times of immediate need and when filling in for resident coordinators. Kris works to ensure the residency programs are compliant by following the ACGME program requirements.
Graduate Medical Education Staff Assistant
Nancy is the newest member of the GME team and service as administrative assistant to the whole office. Nancy is responsible for administrative duties within the GME Office.
