Tierra Tinta is the graduate student organization of the department of Modern Languages, Literatures, & Linguistics at the University of Oklahoma. Our purpose is to host an annual Modern Languages Conference at OU. The conference will encourage dialogue and research in the fields of Latin American, Spanish and Luso-Brazilian Studies.

Information Regarding Proposals
We welcome papers that explore any aspect of Latin American, Peninsular, French, Francophone and Luso-Brazilian Literatures, Languages, Music, Cinema, Culture, Gender Studies from any period. We will also consider short creative fiction and poetry.
To Submit Proposals
Submission guidelines: Abstract must be typed, 250 words with a cover page that includes paper title, your name, affiliation, contact information and a short biography.
Each presenter will be given 20 minutes to present. Presentations can be delivered in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or English. Papers cannot be read in absentia. Please send paper or panel proposal no later than August 30, 2019 to tierratinta@ou.edu.
