DBA (Oklahoma) Professor Price's research interests include management information systems, systems analysis and design and Managerial Issues in IT Systems. Professor Price's articles have been published in Academy of Management Review, Journal of Systems Management, Journal of Microcomputer System Management, DATA Management, Information Resource Management, Information Executive, Behavioral Science, Journal of Purchasing and Materials Management and The American Oil and Gas Reporter. He has also presented papers at numerous professional meetings and seminars. He coauthored a textbook for use in the MIS capstone course. He is a member of the Journal of Microcomputer Systems Management Review Board. He handled review assignments for other major journals. Professor Price is a member of the International Conference of Information Systems, Decision Sciences Institute, Association of Information Technology Professionals and Association for Information Systems. In 1981, he was asked by the Dean to develop an MIS program. He worked with the MIS leaders of major existing MIS programs to set up and start the MIS program. He was selected the industry contact for the International Conference on Information Systems and has served as MIS chairperson and placement director for the Decision Sciences Institute. Professor Price is an outstanding teacher who won 27 teaching awards during his tenure at the University of Oklahoma. He has also served as the faculty coordinator for the annual Oklahoma Business Conference and has served on over 40 University, College and  Division committees. Dr. Price is the Executive Director of the Center for Management Information Systems Studies (CMISS), which Dr. Van Horn and Dr. Price established in the MIS Division in 1996.  In 2010, he was the first professor of the Price College of Business to be inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame.
