Price College –MIS Division SAP TS410 Preparatory Workshop: May 13-May 24, 2019
With SAP Certified Trainer: Dr. Ross Hightower
The MIS division at the Price college of Business is pleased to offer again a SAP TS410 (formerly Terp10) Student Certification Workshop this summer from May 13-May 24. In nine full-day sessions, the intensive workshop will help students who have completed the necessary coursework, which provides them familiarity with SAP software, develop knowledge and skills to take the TS410 certification exam, to be held on May 24. Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will become an SAP Certified Associate. This certification offers many career opportunities as it is recognized by partners and companies across the SAP ecosystem. Expert trainer, Dr. Ross Hightower, Director, SAP University Competence Center at the Sheldon Lubar School of Business (https://uwm.edu/business/people/hightower-ross-t/), will conduct the workshop.
Cost and Registration: With the help of industry supporters from the Center of MIS studies (http://www.ou.edu/content/price/mis/cmiss.html) the MIS division is offering a discounted price. Though the full cost of this training and certification is usually $1,000-$1,500, we are able to offer the training this year for just $500. This is an incredible opportunity and is only available to the first 30 students who register and pay the registration fee.

Demand for Business Process skills: The global forecast indicates strong demand for business process management skills and knowledge of software such as SAP. In the next few years, demand for SAP skills in the market is expected to continue to grow. Hence, this certification will enable students to find jobs readily. Students who obtain the certification will be equipped with a good understanding of business processes adopted by companies around the world, get insights into best business practices and how SAP can be used to optimize business processes. Many of the world’s largest companies, including many of those that recruit our students, use SAP software to support their key business operations. Whether you are interested in designing/configuring SAP, or otherwise expect to use SAP as a part of your career or work with other business enterprise software, this certification will be valuable for you.
Course Material: The two-week TS410 course covers the basic structures, organizational elements, and master data used throughout the SAP ERP environment. NetWeaver will be introduced as the technology infrastructure supporting the ERP business processes. The course content includes:

Location and Dates: The workshop will be held at the Price College of Business building on the University of Oklahoma’s Norman campus in the third floor lab in Adams Hall (AH 360).
Classes will run Monday through Friday 9 AM -5 PM during May 13-May 24, 2019. Note that this is an intensive training workshop over two weeks. To pass the exam successfully, a student must be fully committed to attending and doing the necessary assignments. The first week and a half will contain expert instruction from one of the industry’s top trainers, Dr. Ross Hightower. Thursday, May 23th will provide extensive exam preparation exercises, and participants will take the certification exam onsite on Friday, May 24th. Successful certification can open up many job opportunities.
