Melissa Kulp, Ph.D., is the inaugural executive director of career development for the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business. In this role, she serves as the college’s “chief career officer,” focusing on the development and implementation of career-readiness and employer relations strategies for the newly established Price College Career Center. She is responsible for growing and leading a team of professionals dedicated to providing a best-in-class experience for undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and employers.
Kulp is passionate about building strong and clear connections between curricular and cocurricular experiences, empowering students to make informed decisions about their majors and career trajectories. She enjoys creating unique opportunities for faculty, students, staff, alumni, and employers to engage and learn from one another.
With 17 years of experience in education, Kulp brings a rich background in higher education leadership and student development, and she regularly teaches business and career-readiness courses
