Joe Daves has spent the past 13 years proudly serving his alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, in various roles. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology-Criminology at OU and began his professional career at OU as a Case Manager in the Student Conduct office. He then joined the Title IX Office as a Sexual Misconduct/Harassment Investigator. Joe spent seven years working as the Senior Assistant Director in the Career Center, where he helped students secure internships and jobs. He joined the Price College of Business in March 2024. Before being employed at OU, Joe worked in sales and transportation/logistics for several years.
His extensive campus experience has allowed him to build highly collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and staff across the university. Originally from Piedmont, OK, Daves is a long-time resident of Norman, where he lives with his wife, Brynn and daughter, Kellen.
Daves is currently pursuing his Masters of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at OU.
