Jaron Harvey, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in Management and Executive Director of Experiential Learning at the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business. Jaron earned his Ph.D. in human resource management and organizational behavior from the University of Oklahoma in and holds a B.S. in international business from Utah Valley State University. Before rejoining Price College, Harvey was a faculty member at Utah Valley University, Kansas State University, the University of Wyoming, and the University of Alabama.

Harvey’s research explores topics such as citizenship behavior, employee overqualification, and the impact of electronic monitoring in the workplace. His work has been published in premier journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Management. Harvey has taught a variety of courses in management, including organizational behavior, human resource management, negotiations, and is currently teaching the Price First Year Experience class. He is passionate about preparing students for the challenges of modern business through applied and interactive teaching methods.
