This currently depends on which program of study you choose. Many of our programs have flat-rate tuition, so in-state and out-of-state students pay the same amount. A few programs separate in-state and out-of-state costs, so it is essential to check the program page to make sure what the costs are for your specific program.

Our Canvas learning system makes it easy to interact with classmates and instructors. The curriculum will vary, but many courses include discussion boards, live lectures, group projects, and more.
For the fall and spring semesters, OU Online undergraduate courses are eight weeks long. Graduate program courses are 16 weeks long. All programs have 8-week long courses in the summer.
You can access all course materials for your classes and interact with instructors and classmates on the Canvas learning system. Most courses are asynchronous, meaning you can complete your coursework anytime, from anywhere.
OU Online students are University of Oklahoma students. Upon completion of your degree, you will receive your diploma from OU. It will be conferred for your degree program. Your diploma and transcript will be indistinguishable from the diploma and transcript that students who complete on-campus programs receive.
There is no difference in content or quality between OU Online and on-campus courses at the University of Oklahoma. The only significant difference is that OU Online courses are delivered entirely online. Each academic program has been carefully constructed by the same faculty members providing on-campus teaching to ensure the same quality education occurs in OU Online courses.
OU Online programs are flexible and designed for working adults. Each degree program is unique, and the time it takes to complete a program is determined by several factors, including the number of credit hours in the program, how many courses you take each semester, etc. While some programs can be completed in as little as 24 months, the time it takes to finish will be different for each student.
