OU Faculty and Staff Will See Raises in October

The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents approved a salary increase program for faculty and staff across all three campuses during its June 25 meeting. The raises will be effective Oct. 1 for faculty and staff. This is the first broad salary program for staff in Norman since 2014.

Faculty and staff hired or rehired before June 30, 2019, on the OU Norman campus are included in the salary program. Full- and part-time benefits-eligible staff will receive a 3% salary increase. All full-time instructional Norman faculty, including instructors and lecturers, will receive a 1.2% increase to their base salary. Departments were also given funding for additional faculty raises based on meritorious performance and salary equity needs.

OU Health Sciences Center staff will receive an overall average increase of 2.2624% plus the cost of fringe benefits, bringing the raise budget to an overall average 3% increase. HSC faculty raises will vary based on available budget, performance and salary equity needs.

OU-Tulsa pay increases for faculty and staff will align with the campus in which each employee reports.

Guidelines for the salary program were distributed by the Offices of the Senior Vice President and Provost on each campus and Human Resources. Questions related to the salary increase program should be directed to department supervisors and chairs.
