OU Ranked Among Best for Vets

The University of Oklahoma is a top 100 school, according to Military Times’ newest college ratings for veterans. Military Times surveyed hundreds of colleges and universities from across the country on their policies related to military and veteran students, academic outcomes, military-supportive cultures and other factors.

OU lands at No. 87. According to the survey, nearly 1,700 veterans are enrolled at OU.

For 10 years, Military Times has conducted this study, evaluating many factors that help make colleges and universities a good fit for service members, military veterans and their families.

For more information about veteran benefits and services at OU, contact the Veteran Student Services office at (405) 325-4308 or veterans@ou.edu. The Norman campus office in Buchanan Hall, Room 216, 1000 Asp Ave., is staffed with VA work-study employees from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and is open for walk-ins.
