Undergraduate Research Day 2024 

May 7, 2024

On April 13, 2024 undergraduate students from all across campus gathered for Undergraduate Research Day. The top presenters were awarded a cash prize and recognized at the annual Honors College awards ceremony.


OU Honors Student Receives 2024 Udall Honors

Anna Hyslop has been named a 2024 Udall Scholar. The Udall recognizes undergraduate students who demonstrate a commitment to careers related to the environment or to Native American public policy or health care. Read more


OU Honors Student named 2024 Truman Scholar

University of Oklahoma honors student Juan Dills was named a 2024 Truman Scholar. Dills, an undergraduate student in the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work, plans to pursue a Master of Social Work with a desire to address problems around imprisonment and reincarceration in U.S. prisons. via OU News Read More

Two OU Students Named Truman Finalists

Juan Dills and Wesley Russell have been named finalists for the 2024 Truman Scholarship. Established by Congress in 1975 as the living memorial to President Harry S. Truman and national monument to public service, the Truman Scholarship carries the legacy of our 33rd President by supporting and inspiring the next generation of public service leaders. Read More

An Inside Look at the Inside Out Program

In January 2023, fifteen Honors students embarked on a unique educational journey. Along with their professor, Dr. Marie Dallam, they spent the spring semester meeting with fifteen women incarcerated at the Mabel Bassett Correctional Center studying "Death, Dying, and Religion" for their Honors colloquium. The class was part of the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program. Read More

Two OU students have been named 2023 Goldwater Scholars. Named after Senator Barry Goldwater, the award is the most prestigious undergraduate STEM research scholarship in the country. Read More 


OU Student Earns Rotary Graduate Global Fellowship

May 26, 2024 

University of Oklahoma student Parker Adams has been named a recipient of the 2023 Graduate Global Fellowship. Funded by Rotary International District 5770 (Oklahoma) the fellowship provides $30,000 for graduate studies in most universities outside the United States. Read More


Lacy Lewis Named Pickering Finalist

May 26, 2023 

University of Oklahoma student Lacey Lewis has been named a 2023 finalist for the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship named after Ambassador Pickering and funded by the U.S. Department of State, the prize covers graduate tuition for student plan on careers in U.S. foreign service.
