Travel Study and Study Abroad Opportunities

Gaylord College students can receive a one of a kind experience through any of several study abroad programs and travel opportunities tailored just for JMC students. Students may also choose to hold an internship for a semester or summer session in Washington, D.C.

Scholarships and Financial Assistance for Study Abroad

Scholarship applications to study abroad are due by March 14, 2018. Limited assistance is available.

British Media Study Abroad

A truly unique experience spanning London, Paris and Bristol. Students connect with executives at media organizations.

Gaylord in Arezzo

Marking Gaylord's first study abroad program in Arezzo, eligible students can earn six credit hours Summer 2017 taking Gaylord 360: Storytelling without Walls and Documentary Production. The application deadline is February 10. More information can be found here

The program immerses Gaylord College students into the culture of government and politics in the Nation’s capitol.

Student clubs take yearly trips to the top agencies and media outlets in New York, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Students participate in a communication studies program at the University of Erfurt in Germany with a week in Berlin.
