About

Oklahoma Horn Academy is a three-day event for public school horn players of all abilities. This mini-camp will help students understand basic methods of tone production and performance. There will be age/ability Master Classes where students will be assembled in smaller groups to receive more individual attention. There will be ample opportunities to play in a large ensemble. There will be general sessions over intonation, tone production, articulation, and musicianship. Audition material for All-State and District honor groups will be introduced and tips on preparation will be given.
