The Pyramid Arena, Memphis, Tennessee. Opened in 1991, it serves as the general purpose facility for University of Memphis sports, the Riverkings hockey team, and other special events. Designed in the fashion of the Egyptian Pyramids, it is yet another public expression of Memphis' links with its sister city, Memphis, Egypt. (J C Alexander)
