Love's Cup


The Love’s Cup is a statewide collegiate business plan competition that simulates the real world process of researching a market, writing a business plan and making a presentation to potential investors.

OU students made up four of the six finalists in the 2019 Love's Cup. Banners took 2nd and Babel Analytics took 3rd in their respective categories. Both teams previously participated in the Sooner Innovation Fund

I-CCEW is an economic development organization at the University of Oklahoma specializing in technology commercialization, software business development, social entrepreneurship, and agile product design. This program offers learning experiences, collaborative spaces, high-impact programming, and entrepreneurial consulting to graduate and undergraduate students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and community members in Norman, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. As a client or team member, all OU students can take advantage of these opportunities.

Startup Weekend

Every year, OU students participate in OU Startup Weekend, an intense 54-hour event that provides networking, resources, and incentives for individuals and teams to launch new business ideas. Teams receive advice from mentors, conduct original research and build working demos, and present in Demo Day, in which judges determine the weekend’s best-developed startup.
