DISC continues to provide research seed funding to incentivize trans-disciplinary, convergent research teams focused on tackling grand challenges. Seed funding allows OU researchers to incubate ideas with the potential for future extramural support.

- Nishan Bhattarai, Ph.D., and Pradeep Wagle, Ph.D., were awarded $10,000 for their project, “The water-saving potential of sprinkler irrigation systems across winter wheat farms in Oklahoma.”
