Below you will find information on tutoring services provided by the University of Oklahoma at no additional cost. If you are looking for a subject not listed here, please contact your professor for recommendations and/or visit your professor during office hours for additional assistance with course material. General Resources and Seminars

Action Tutoring and Action Centers offer dynamic, group tutoring in 90+ subjects. These are available as drop-in, by-appointment, and online sessions. See program details and schedules here.

Project Threshold provides personal, academic and financial aid counseling and tutorial assistance for students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Learn more about the program here.

The Student Learning Center offers one-on-one study consultations with trained peer learning assistants (tutors) on topics ranging from time management to notetaking.  Each consultation includes a self-assessment and strategies to increase a student’s overall self-understanding and efficiency as a learner. Sign-up today by logging onto iadvise.ou.edu/slc to find an available appointment.

The University College Mentoring program provides the opportunity for students to build relationships with faculty, increase their network base, and gain valuable life experience. It gives the student a chance to become acquainted with someone who is personally interested in the student's well-being and who can assist with the complexities of university life.  Enroll in this 0-credit, 0-cost course, UNIV 1210, at one.ou.edu.

At the OU Writing Center you can work with our writing consultants on any kind of writing at any point in the process.  We're available for you in several locations on campus, as well as online.  You can also join a writing group or use our web-based resources anytime from anywhere.

The OUHSC Writing Center serves students, faculty, and staff of all seven colleges of the Health Sciences campus. Centrally located in the DLB Student Union, the Writing Center offers one-hour appointments Monday-Friday. For more information, visit OUHSC Writing Center.

The Honors College Writing Center provides assistance for students enrolled in HON 2973, the "Perspectives on the American Experience" class.

The Math Center is dedicated to offering support to students enrolled in University of Oklahoma mathematics courses at the calculus level or earlier.  Our goal is to provide assistance to students as they work on understanding and mastering the concepts presented in these math courses.  Specifically the Math Center offers assistance and consultations for students enrolled in the following courses:  Math for Critical Thinking (Math 1473), Pre-Calculus courses (1503, 1523, 1643), Business Calculus (1743, 2123) and Calculus I, II, III and IV (1823-2934).  More information can be found at Math Center.
