Home After the Halls Presentation

What: Moving out of OU Housing or planning on renting? Request a Home After the Halls presentation from Student Legal Services! This presentation can be done in-person or virtually. This program will cover:

Landlord Tenant Law in Oklahoma
Tenants' rights in Oklahoma
Better understanding of housing contract terms prior to signing
How to best protect your own interests, and more!

Student Healthcare Planning Event

What: Join Student Legal Services as we assist students with their advance healthcare planning - the process of making advance care arrangements in the event the unthinkable occurs. Our attorney and SLS Director, Tracey Langford, will be available, by appointment, to answer questions, assist in completing documents, and will have necessary witnesses available to complete the process. These services will include:

HIPAA Authorization
Power of Attorney for Healthcare

Where: Oklahoma Memorial Union, Heritage Room

When: Friday, April 12, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM

In addition to our consultation and representation services, SLS is available to give presentations to student organizations on topics of law that impact university students. To request a specific presentation for your organization, please reach out to the SLS office.
