University of Oklahoma Chrysanthemum Gardens in Full Bloom
NORMAN – Named among the nation’s 25 most beautiful college campuses, the University of Oklahoma attracts thousands of visitors each fall to view its outstanding chrysanthemum gardens. This year’s theme is “Homecoming 2017.” Over 15,000 mums and 5,000 little Joseph’s coat plants were used in the design, which reflects the tradition and history of OU’s colors and logo. The mums are planted to reach peak bloom during Homecoming week so that OU students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends as well as visitors to campus can enjoy the display.
