OU Report It! Hotline Wins National Award for Ethics and Compliance
OU Report It! – the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents reporting hotline – has been recognized with the 2023 NAVEX Customer Excellence Awards in Ethics and Compliance.
OU Report It! provides a simple and anonymous way for employees, students and community members to report concerns or possible misconduct. The award honors organizations that have showcased exceptional innovation, impactful strategies, and remarkable success in risk and compliance programs. Two years ago, the university redesigned the OU Report It! website to make it easier to submit concerns – efforts that led to this distinction.
The acknowledgment from NAVEX evaluates an organization’s mastery of risk and compliance program understanding, positive influence on their work environment and staff, adeptness in identifying and mitigating business risks, and the quantifiable impact achieved. It also highlights the crucial role that risk and compliance programs play in building resilient organizations and fostering positive workplace cultures.
Chosen through a meticulous evaluation process by a panel of industry experts, OU Report It! represents the forefront of risk and compliance practices. Over 60 nominations were carefully reviewed across various award categories.
“This distinction is attributed to the commitment of the university’s administration to the highest standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity,” said Carolyn Clink, OU audit director. “It is also essential to acknowledge the various ethics and compliance specialists across our campuses for their dedication and support for a culture of continuous improvement and service to our campus communities.”
