Presidential Teaching Fellows

Presidential Teaching Fellows in Honors

The Presidential Teaching Fellows program brings faculty from all across OU's campus to teach in the Honors College for a period of one year. This merit-based incentive program is designed to reward the university's best and brightest professors who excel in teaching and mentorship, allowing them an opportunity to develop specialized courses in their areas of expertise. Two faculty are selected for this program each year.

In addition to diversifying the Honors College course offerings, the Presidential Teaching Fellows program increases the opportunities for Honors students to work with professors from all departments and disciplines. Faculty develop courses that are designed for small classes of OU's most highly motivated students within the interdisciplinary framework that is fundamental to the Honors College curriculum, and they participate in the overall social and intellectual life of the Honors College.
