Gaylord College Writing Success Center serves as a tutoring and support system primarily for students in the JMC 2033 Media Writing & Storytelling but also offers writing assistance for all in Gaylord College.
Established in fall 2022 with funding from Inasmuch Foundation, the Gaylord College Writing Success Center serves as a tutoring and support system primarily for students in the JMC 2033 Media Writing & Storytelling, a core course in the college's curriculum and the first writing class students take in the college. However, we can also serve students in all other writing courses in the Gaylord College curriculum.
Our center offers one-on-one 30-minute coaching sessions with writing tutors as well as other resources for media writing success. Our team of professional educators and top student tutors works to boost students' writing skills and confidence to serve the college's overall goal of leading and teaching future media professionals. We are located inside the Gaylord Student Services Office, room 2533. Once you're inside Student Services, we are room 2527.
