The University of Oklahoma is to remain closed through July 31. As a result, we will unfortunately have to cancel OboeFest 2020.

Dr. Dan Schwartz and the University of Oklahoma Oboe Studio invite you to join us for a three-day oboe workshop this summer! This event is for middle school and high school oboists of all skill levels, even first-day beginners! In addition to working closely with Dr. Schwartz, participants will have one-on-one mentoring experience with members of the OU Oboe Studio. Topics covered will include oboe foundations, reed making, chamber music, critical listening, composing for the oboe, and performance strategies. The festival will conclude with a recital featuring all of our participants.
