Tashi Delek! My name is Tenzin Tsomo. I'm a third-generation Tibetan refugee born and raised in Dharamsala, India. I am a senior double majoring in Community Health and Anthropology at The University of Oklahoma(OU). I attended UWC Atlantic College as a Horizon Scholar and graduated in 2020. At OU, I am an undergraduate student assistant at the UWC Scholars Program office and help out with coordinating events for UWC Davis Scholars on campus. I also work as a student Peer Health Educator with OU Health services, helping out with health promotion events for the OU community. On campus, I am involved with student organizations like Green week and The United World (TUW). I'd be happy to talk about anything related to my major, interests or student life at OU!

Juan Andres Tobon Orregon

Student Ambassador

Hello! I am a senior from Colombia majoring in anthropology. I graduated from UWC Dilijan in 2020. Throughout my time at OU, I have had the opportunity to be a part of several student-led international organizations, such as the Colombian Student Association, LatinArte, and the International Advisory Council. I have been able to keep up my passion for service through events like "The Big Event," which brings together people from across campus on the biggest volunteering event in Oklahoma. On the academic side, I have participated in undergraduate research with top-level scholars, professional development classes, and more. Being at OU has meant being in a place where I have grown academically, personally, and spiritually while being surrounded by a community that genuinely cares about you.
