How to Apply for Scholarships

Freshman:
Apply by the December 15 priority deadline to ensure you are considered for general freshman scholarships. Applications received after the scholarship deadline will be considered for scholarship on an availability basis. Academic merit-based scholarships are determined on a rolling basis after admission. To be considered for leadership, community involvement and some departmental scholarships, submit the Common Application and OU supplemental questions or the OU Application by the scholarship deadline.

Transfer:
The general transfer scholarship application is part of the transfer transfer admission application. The deadline for these scholarships is March 1. Please note: you must be an admitted student in order to receive a scholarship offer. If you are not admitted by the time scholarship applications are evaluated, you will not be included in the applicant pool.
