Dominique received her Ph.D. from the OU Gallogly College of Engineering in General Engineering in 2012 with a focus on Civil Engineering and Construction. Her industry experience (~12 years) and academic experience include heavy civil project delivery, material design, cost framework development and process improvement.

Dominique also serves as the technical director for the Southern Plains Transportation Center located on OU's research campus. She serves on various committees and provides research services for programs within the National Academy of Sciences/Engineering through the Transportation Research Board. She has taught classes, conducted research and mentored students in local, national and international engineering programs for the past 10 years.

Stephanie Buettner is the Director of Development for the Gallogly College of Engineering. In her role, she oversees alumni and corporate relations to secure resources for many schools and programs to include OU Women in Engineering. Stephanie currently serves on a national executive committee for engineering development.

A two-time graduate of the University of Oklahoma, she has earned her Bachelors in Public Relations and Masters in Public Administration. Stephanie is passionate about her involvement throughout the community as a member of Leadership OKC and a graduate of LOYAL Class VIII. For fun, Stephanie likes to travel, camp, and kayak with her husband James and son, Hunter.
