Shell Fall Fest

Engineering students can start the school year off right by learning about all the student organizations within the Gallogly College of Engineering and Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. This festival welcomes new and returning students back to campus to kick-off the fall semester, including corporate sponsor booths, a dunk tank and other carnival games, free hamburgers, snow cones and tshirts, an involvement fair, and several raffle prizes.

Engineering Career Fair

Each fall, a huge job and internship fair is held at the Lloyd Noble Center specifically for all engineering majors to provide a chance to network. This gives students an opportunity to engage with potential employers and gain a better understanding of potential careers and career paths in the fields of engineering.

Valero Student Leadership Retreat

The Valero Student Leadership Retreat is during the fall semester each year at the CHICKASAW NATION RETREAT & CONFERENCE CENTER. The retreat is hosted by the Engineering Club and Jerry Holmes Leadership Program for Engineers and Scientists, but it is open to all students in the Gallogly and Mewbourne Colleges who want to engage in leadership development activities.

The Engineers' Club and Gallogly Royalty participate in CAC's Homecoming each fall and design a float that will wow the masses.
All are welcome to join in the building of the float. The float is build in the Concrete Canoe Bay and dates and times will be announced closer to Homecoming.

Every February, hundreds of thousands of engineers all over the world celebrate Engineers' Week. At OU, students, faculty, and staff celebrate the founding of their discipline by their patron, Saint Patrick.
The week features fun events including:

Women in Engineering Week
April 1 - 6, 2018
This week is dedicated to celebrating and supporting women engineers on campus. The week's activities are centered around mentorship, professional development, and outreach.
The week culminates with a banquet that recognizes corporate partners as well as outstanding faculty, staff, and students.
Diversity and Inclusion Banquet

Diversity and Inclusion is a priority on our campus, and the achievements of our diverse student body is testimony to that ideal. Open to all students, the OU College of Engineering Diversity Programs facilitate the outreach, recruitment, retention and overall success of underrepresented students. At the end of each Spring semester, D&I hosts a banquet to celebrate and recognize the achievements of the organization and its students.
