Zahed Siddique, Ph.D., is the associate dean for research and the Dick and Shirley O'Shields Professor in the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Siddique previously served as the director of AME at the University of Oklahoma.
Siddique is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering, the Tau Beta Pi National Honor Society, the Golden Key Honor Society, and the International Association of Science and Technology for Development Technical Committee.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Development of tools and framework to enhance engineering design education; Internet based product design to increase collaboration among designers, and to manage product and process information; engineering design methodology, design for product variety, graph grammars in engineering design, combinatorics, product platform design, product portfolio management and rapid design; virtual prototyping, future CAD systems, use of computers in engineering design; CAD support for product family design and design for the environment.
