The Component Bar lets you switch between Navigator, Messenger, Collabra, and Composer with just a click of the mouse. You can dock the Component Bar at the bottom of each window, or let it float anywhere on the screen.The Communicator Menu
The Communicator Menu is the only menu that stays constant, no matter what component of Communicator you’re using. Select options from the Communicator menu to move from component to component, to access smaller modules, such as the Address Book and History windows, or to bring specific open windows to the front of the screen.
The Component Bar

To view the Component Bar at the bottom of each window:
Click the Close box in the tope right corner of the floating Component Bar. Or choose Communicator > Dock Component Bar.
To float the Component Bar:
Choose Communicator, then select Show Compnonent Bar. The Component Bar floats on your screen.
