Projects: Two group projects, one due before Spring break, the other at the end of the semester. Click here --> for project grade breakdown. At midterm, students may be assigned the same project they did on the first part. |

Public Presentations: One at the end of the semester. A group or a student can be prevented from making a public presentation if the project material or his/her participation in it was deficient. A grade of no more han a D in the class will automatically correspond. Higher grades are at the instructor's discretion. |

Assignments: Assignments that do not fulfill minimum standards may be returned to the student for fixing. The grade (based on the first submission) will not be awarded until the grader approves the work. |

Quizzes: Quiz #1 has half weight. Quizzes on new material have double weight. |
|
Journal: Every two weeks I require a journal (preferably about the class, but free content anyway). |
|
Extra Credit: For valid reasons (sickness, special cases, etc) extra work may be allowed. |
