I am Md Zahid Hasan, currently pursuing a PhD in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at the University of Oklahoma.

My academic background in various areas of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and professional experience have rounded my competency to start a doctoral degree in Biochemistry.

I am interested in the study of non-communicable and infectious diseases, drug discovery and design, mechanism of antibiotics and their resistances, protein structures, modification, and functions, to identify, analyze diseases and develop their therapeutics for more effective diagnosis and prevention.

I am driven to collaborate on innovative research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to make meaningful contributions to scientific discovery.
