I became interested in chemistry during my pre-ap chemistry class in high school. After doing a summer fellowship in Nuclear Chemistry, I became interested in excited-state processes, which is now the focus of my research in Dr. Shao’s group. After graduation, I plan to become a research professor mentoring both graduate and undergraduate students.
