Ph.D. Student Jaron Davidson Receives Two Awards

PhD student Jaron Davidson received a 2024-2025 Fulbright García-Robles Student Research grant to carry out archaeological survey and historic archival research in Chihuahua and Mexico City, Mexico over the course of the next academic year. The purpose of the grant is to facilitate international academic and cultural exchange between the United States and other countries.

In addition, Jaron won a Student Paper Award for an oral presentation with the paper entitled "Diachronic Cultural Connections between Northern Chihuahua and Far West Texas."
