Community Coffee Klatch

Periodic gatherings to talk about politics with former members of Congress, other elected officials, authors, and public commentators who share insights about what's behind the latest public opinion polls. In addition, we have added Explorations of the A-files, a behind-the-scenes look into the Carl Albert Center Congressional Archives to learn more about Oklahoma history and personal lives of its congressional representatives.

Spring 2019

The following Coffee Klatches are scheduled for Spring 2019:

  • Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 at 9:00 - 10:00 am: Chris Bonneau, associate professor of political science at the University of Pittsburgh
  • Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at 9:00 -10:00 am: Alison Craig, assistant professor of political science at the University of Texas at Austin. Prof. Craig is the 2018 Carl Albert Dissertation Award winner for the best dissertation in legislative studies.

Coffee Klatches are held in Monnet Hall, Rm. 101 (630 Parrington Oval, Norman, OK).
