Summary:
The purpose of this project was to provide Nature Conservancy staff with the expertise required to complete tasks related to the restoration of its properties on the Blue River in south-central Oklahoma. These tasks included identifying plants along the streams targeted for restoration activities within the Oka’ Yanahli Preserve, creating lists of extant and potential native wetland, riparian, and bottomland plants for the Preserve, describing vegetation communities found on targeted areas within the Preserve, and advising on the selection of native plants to be included in the vegetation restoration on the Preserve.
