As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

Literally speaking, I left my mark (autograph) on a “Leadership table” in the Student Union. It’s a fun tradition at OU to have leaders of different student organizations carve their name on one table that remains in the Union for future generations of campus leaders to see. It also serves as a reminder that it takes LOTS of individuals making their own unique contributions, year after year, to help make OU great.

Define the OU Family in your own words.

Being part of the OU Family means a commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom. The OU Family embodies a spirit of helpfulness and encouragement. Every member of the OU Family is unique, but the sense of pride that comes from being a Sooner is a common bond we all share.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

Lifelong friendships formed at OU are precious gifts that are with you wherever you go!

Reveal one secret about campus.

The Great Reading Room in the library is not only a great place for study, but also a place to feel inspired. Go there regularly!

What is your favorite OU tradition?

The crowd yelling “BOOMER!” and the other half of the crowd echoing “SOONER!” at an OU sporting event is one of my favorite OU traditions.
