The mission of Student Life is to guide students in realizing academic, professional, and personal goals as they progress toward graduation and beyond. There are 500+ student organizations to choose from, including groups that celebrate your culture and background and others that are tied to your major.

The Academic Success Center offers undergraduate student support and promotes retention and persistence efforts through holistic advising, major and career exploration coaching, tutoring services, transition courses, and leadership opportunities. This university-wide student success unit endeavors to cultivate academic excellence for students across all disciplines at the University of Oklahoma.
A student's sense of belonging on campus improves academic outcomes, increases continuing enrollment, and can improve and protect mental health. Student Life's commitment to community engagement helps students find their home away from home while at OU and assists students as they discover their community.
More than 6,000 current students have chosen to join the fraternity and sorority community at the University of Oklahoma. Each of our 55 active chapters is a member of one of our five Greek councils and each offers unique opportunities for personal growth and meaningful experiences to 29% of University of Oklahoma students.
Student Government Association (SGA) serves and advocates for the student body in order to continue improving the student experience.
OU's International Student Services assists international students and their dependents, providing expert advice and support to every international student. We work with international students, faculty and staff, community members, U.S. federal officials, and a variety of government agencies. The International Programming teams offers many events and cultural activities, including new student orientation, helpful workshops, excursions to experience Oklahoma, and the Friends to International Students program.
The International Advisory Committee (IAC) serves as the umbrella organization for the international student organizations at OU and is committed to being the voice of these organizations. IAC organizes and facilities various cultural, social, political, and intramural events and also promotes and increases awareness of the international community on campus.
The Center for Social Justice is an initiative of the Department of Women's and Gender Studies to promote gender justice, equality, and human rights through local and global engagement. By participating in programs, classes, and events sponsored by the Center, students receive practical and academic tools to better understand the sources of inequality in their communities and the means to address them.
OU’s Military Connected and Veteran Student Success Center seeks to provide a positive and supportive learning enviroment, helping military service-connected students achieve academic excellence and personal success. It offers various projects and initiatives, including veteran appreciation events, veteran student orientation, and student scholarships among others.

The OU Food Pantry aims to solve food insecurity for OU students, faculty, and staff. Located right next to the residence halls, this free resource is easily accessible and open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4:30–6:30 p.m. Summer hours vary.
OU Health Services (OUHS) provides the convenience of an on-campus location at the Goddard Health Center to students, faculty, staff, and their dependents. The center offers many services, including a full-service medical clinic, women’s center, LGBTQ health resources, pharmacy, vaccinations, and counseling.
Located in the on-campus Goddard Health Center, University Counseling Center (UCC) offers individual counseling, couples counseling, group counseling, psychiatric services, and career counseling and testing to students, faculty, and staff. UCC is staffed by professional psychologists and counselors, as well as advanced graduate students under supervision.
The Accessibility and Disability Resource Center offers support services and resources for students, faculty, and staff, alternative testing opportunities, one-on-one tutoring appointments, and adaptive computer labs, among others. OU is committed to the goal of achieving equal educational opportunity and full participation for students with disabilities.
Throughout a student's time at OU, we want to ensure they have all the resources they need to thrive both inside and outside of the classroom. Through our academic resources like the Math Center and free tutoring to our class sizes averaging a 17:1 student-to-faculty ratio, students will discover an academic environment that welcomes and supports all.
The Writing Center is available to assist all members of the OU community with any writing at any stage in the process, whether it is a class essay, an application, or just for fun.
A resource that is extremely helpful for first-generation students, TRIO includes academic advisement, financial aid information, enrollment assistance, computer lab access, tutoring, and free printing.
This class helps high school students transition to college. Taught by enthusiastic and caring instructors, Foundations for College Learning is a letter-graded, two-credit-hour elective course that teaches new incoming students how to successfully navigate OU and build a strong foundation for collegiate success.
OU's Math Center provides math assistance with tutors who are certified to tutor certain subjects from college algebra to upper division classes.
